Compress Magazine Spring
Lock Magazine Spring
Remove Magazine Spring
Clean Inside Magazine
Clean The Spring
Wipe Inside Magazine
Remove Rag
Reinstall Spring
Recompress Spring
Insert Follower
Apply Oil

Clean The Gun Itself
Make The Gun Safe
Engage The Slide Lock
Remove Barrel Bushing
Remove Slide Lock
Remove Slide
Remove Firing-Pin
Remove Extractor
Clean Extractor
Clean Breech Face
Clean Feed Ramp
Clean And Reassemble
Position Barrel Link
Install Slide Lock
Complete Reassembly
Check Proper Functioning

Before Proceeding, make absolutely certain that the pistol is not loaded. Always point guns in a safe direction. Dead is a forever deal, so always treat guns as if they were loaded and never point them in a direction that is not safe. Notice that the index finger (trigger finger) is always kept straight and must NEVER touch the trigger. Remove the magazine first, then cycle the action (pull the slide) to verify that there is not a round in the chamber. Repeat this process several times.
