Remove Rag
Reinstall Spring
Recompress Spring
Insert Follower
Apply Oil
Clean The Gun Itself
Make The Gun Safe
Engage The Slide Lock
Remove Barrel Bushing
Remove Slide Lock
Remove Slide
Remove Firing-Pin
Remove Extractor
Clean Extractor
Clean Breech Face
Clean Feed Ramp
Clean And Reassemble
Position Barrel Link
Install Slide Lock
Complete Reassembly
Check Proper Functioning |
Reinstall
Spring by inserting spring into magazine. Take notice of the top end of the spring.
The loose end of the spring generally "points" the same direction as the bullet
does when sitting in the magazine. Sometimes the spring is cut off on the end, and
sometimes there is a small loop in the end of the spring. The end of the spring
with the large loop always sits in the very bottom of the magazine. |
