Clean The Magazine First
Make The Gun Safe
Compress Magazine Spring
Lock Magazine Spring
Remove Magazine Spring
Clean Inside Magazine
Clean The Spring
Wipe Inside Magazine
Remove Rag
Reinstall Spring
Recompress Spring

Insert Follower
Apply Oil

Clean The Gun Itself
Make The Gun Safe
Engage The Slide Lock
Remove Barrel Bushing
Remove Slide Lock
Remove Slide
Remove Firing-Pin
Remove Extractor
Clean Extractor
Clean Breech Face
Clean Feed Ramp
Clean And Reassemble
Position Barrel Link
Install Slide Lock
Complete Reassembly
Check Proper Functioning

Position the barrel link pointing up  (while slide is upside down).  Others may not do it this way but it works fine. Use a light amount of oil on the slide rails and slide the frame back onto the slide. After the slide and frame are together, gently and slowly return the gun to a proper position (right side up). The reinstallation of the slide lock is the trickiest part of 45 reassembly.
